📋 Information We Collect

When you use the Appstech mobile application, we collect the following categories of information:

Account Information (via Google Sign-In):

• Your name and email address from your Google account
• Google profile picture (display purposes only)
• A unique Google account identifier

Business & Accounting Data you enter:

• Company details (name, address, GSTIN, contact info)
• Ledger accounts and account groups
• Sales, purchase, receipt, and payment vouchers
• Inventory items, stock entries, and godown details
• GST-related data including HSN/SAC codes and tax rates
• Invoice and bill allocation records

Technical Information:

• Device type and operating system version
• App version and session activity logs
• Crash reports (used to fix bugs)

⚙️ How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect solely to provide and improve the Appstech service:

• Authenticate your identity and manage your account securely
• Store and sync your accounting data across your devices
• Generate financial reports, ledger summaries, and GST statements
• Send important account notifications (e.g. login alerts)
• Diagnose technical issues and improve app performance
• Comply with applicable Indian tax and financial regulations

🔑 Google Sign-In

Appstech uses Google OAuth 2.0 for authentication. When you sign in with Google, we receive only the basic profile information you authorize — name, email address, and profile photo.

• We do not access your Gmail, Google Drive, Contacts, or any other Google service
• We do not store your Google password — authentication is handled entirely by Google
• You can revoke Appstech's access at any time via your Google Account settings at myaccount.google.com/permissions

Our use of Google user data complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy , including the Limited Use requirements.

🔒 Data Storage & Security

All your data is stored securely using Supabase — a trusted, SOC 2 Type II compliant cloud database platform hosted on AWS infrastructure.

• All data is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.2+
• Data at rest is encrypted using AES-256
• Row-level security ensures each user can only access their own company data
• Authentication tokens are stored securely on-device using platform secure storage
• We conduct regular security reviews of our database policies

🤝 Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal or business data. We share data only in these limited circumstances:

• Supabase: Our database infrastructure provider — processes data on our behalf under strict data processing agreements
• Google: For authentication purposes only, as described above
• Legal compliance: If required by Indian law, court order, or regulatory authority
• Business transfer: If AppsS Technologies is acquired or merged, your data would transfer to the new entity under the same privacy commitments

No third-party analytics, advertising networks, or data brokers have access to your information.

✅ Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access: Request a copy of all data we hold about you
• Correction: Update incorrect or incomplete information within the app
• Deletion: Request deletion of your account and all associated data
• Portability: Export your accounting data in a standard format
• Revoke Google access: Disconnect Google sign-in at any time
• Opt-out: Stop using the service and request data erasure

🗄️ Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service.

• Accounting records are retained as long as you maintain an active account
• If you delete your account, all your data is permanently deleted within 30 days
• Anonymised, aggregated usage statistics (with no personal identifiers) may be retained indefinitely for service improvement
• Backup copies are deleted within 90 days of account deletion

👶 Children's Privacy

Appstech is a business accounting application intended for adults and business professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18.

If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately at tallystechnologies@gmail.com and we will delete it promptly.

📝 Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as our service evolves or legal requirements change. When we make material changes, we will:

• Update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page
• Notify you via email or an in-app notification for significant changes
• Provide at least 14 days' notice before changes take effect

Continued use of Appstech after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
